This build uses a team of three ritualist type characters and spirits to provide party-wide healing, quick condition removal, and deal considerable damage to foes. This group works great in conjunction with additional teammates, though their professions do not particularly matter.

The SoS Spirit Spammer[]

Attributes and Skills[]

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Me RestorationMagic=12+1+1 SpawningPower=10+1 InspirationMagic=7 ChannelingMagic=5] [Mantra of Inscriptions][Boon of Creation][Feast of Souls][Signet of Spirits][Recovery][Recuperation][Spirit's Gift][Optional][/build] </pvxbig>

  • Suggest a few optional skill(s) if you included an Optional slot in the skill bar.

Spirit Siphon and Signet of Creation are both useful for energy management beyond Boon of Creation. Due note that Signet of Creation will recharge faster due to Mantra of Inscriptions

Equipment[]

  • Armor

All runes necessary to meet attribute requirements. Radiant Insignias and Runes of Attunement are good for a boost of energy.

Usage[]

Maintain Mantra of Inscriptions, Spirit's Gift, and Boon of Creation up at all times. This will give you wide-range healing, wide-range condition removal, energy renewal, and fast recharge time on SoS since you will be using it often.

When around enemies, use SoS, Recovery, and Recuperation when your nearby allies, or yourself, need health. Note that the spirits are used not for their damage capabilities but for the use of healing party members.

Use Spirit Siphon or Signet of Creation to gain energy from spirits whenever you have a shortage. If you are using it frequently, make sure to move slightly between uses so that you don't suck energy from the same spirit repeatedly.

Counters to SoS Spirit Spammer[]

Spirit hate spells

Energy denial

Caster hate/interrupts

Providing enough energy for Recuperation can be tricky at times, but if you bring either Spirit Siphon or Signet of Creation, you should be able to counter those problems.

Rt/any Soul Twisting Healer[]

Attributes and Skills[]

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/Any RestorationMagic=12+1+1 SpawningPower=12+1][Soul Twisting][Boon of Creation][Spirit's Gift][Rejuvenation][Life][Spirit Light][Mend Body and Soul][Spirit to Flesh][/build] </pvxbig>

Boon of Creation is not necessary, but if does have use in self-healing and energy renewal. It can be replaced by Weapon of Warding for health regeneration needs.

Equipment[]

  • Armor

Radiant/Survivor Insignias, the necessary runes to fulfill attribute requirements, and any Runes of Vitae/Attunement.

Usage[]

Maintain Boon of Creation and Spirit's Gift at all times. This will give you wide-range healing, wide-range condition removal and energy renewal.

Keep up Soul Twisting as often as possible

When in combat, summon Rejuvination and Life spirits.

Use the spirits to effectively use Spirit Light and Mend Boy and Soul

If you are in need of a health spike, use Spirit to Flesh on Rejuvination (and then on Life if additional health spike is necessary).

Soul Twisting should have recharged your binding rituals, so cast them again to gain health from Boon of Creation and Spirit's Gift.

Spirit to Flesh should be used on Life second because the longer Life is active, the more additional health you will get for killing it.

Rt/any CoS Enforcer[]

Attributes and Skills[]

<pvxbig> [build prof=Rt/any Channeling=12+1+1 Spawning=12+1][Boon of Creation][Spirit's Gift][Agony][Bloodsong][Clamor of Souls][Spirit Burn][Essence Strike][Optional][/build] </pvxbig>

Painful Bond can be used to enhance the damage of attacks from Bloodsong and Signet of Spirts.

Signet of Creation or Spirit Siphon can be used for better energy renewal.

Lamentation can be used for enemy health degen and heavy damage.

Equipment[]

When entering battle, use both Agony and Bloodsong.

Use Essence Strike for energy renewal and damage to foes.

Use Spirit Burn to damage foes and inflict burning condition.

If brought, cast Painful Bond on a foe (preferably around many foes) for additional damage from spirits.

If brought, cast Lamentation on groups of foes to help deal damage.

If brought, use Signet of Creation to give yourself an energy boost.

Use Clamor of Souls whenever you have spirits out and is available for good multiple foe lightening damage at no energy cost.

Counters to CoS Enforcer[]

Spirit hate spells

Energy denial

Caster hate/interrupts

Variants[]

If you ever find that you aren't using a particular skill from one of these jobs, swap it with Spirit Siphon or Signet of Creation. This will give you better energy renewal, which is helpful for all of these builds.

Counters to the Team[]

If the battle moves away from your spirits, you can be in trouble. Energy denial can hurt your effectiveness.

Notes on the Team[]

Because more spells on these characters have additional effects when within range of a spirit or do not have negative effects when near a spirit, it is nice to stay close together. This almost always guarantees that there will be a spirit nearby for your spells.

When in battle, it is a good idea to be between your long-range casters/rangers and your up close melee fighters. This will let your Spirit's Gift and other "nearby allies" spells reach the most people.

These builds can be initially tricky to run, because they do require some monitoring of spirit health in order to choose when to sacrifice one (with skills such as Spirit to Flesh). After practice, however, you get used to it.
