Yuck...monobook reminds me of GWW. So why dosen't it show in the default skin type? Also mabye explaining things a bit better would help. I never new what monobook was...didn't know there was a checkbox in preferences.--X 16:44, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

monobook and monaco are skins for the wiki, they basically change the appearance and layout of everything. Monobook is typicaly your default skin because it looks professional and isn't cluttered Monaco is the default skin on wikia because it's a skin wikia made, and includes all the extra features they develop.

As for the link, it doesn't show because we (me specifically) created the wikia noticeboard (so the AN was cluttered with issue we couldn't do anything about), so we have to manually add it to the sidebar. I never bothered adding it to monaco because like I said, most of our userbase uses monobook. Image issues

Am I the only one experiencing them? Skills have always showed badly for me, but now they're even worse, and I can't see Zyke's sig. --Chaos? -- 23:27, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Like I told you a week ago or so, the images.wikia.com has all kinds of problems. Several weeks ago, the images were borked for like 3 days for everyone in the U.S. (or should have been). It has something to do with caching. Contact wikia support and see what they tell you. Karate Jesus 14:22, 7 March 2010
