Purpose[]
The Guide Improvement Drive is a child of PvXwiki:Improvement Drive. It is an attempt to organize and maintain a driving movement to uphold the basic quality standards of formatting that every article on this wiki should posses.
The purpose of this project is to get the guides section cleaned up, so that all articles are complete. This means making the articles have as much detail as possiable, adding links to the wikis where appropriate, and making sure the articles are written in clear English.
After the Guides section was created there was a huge amount of interest, but this has all but disappeared, meaning we only have a handful of finished guides. There are a lot of guides that haven't even been made, and some which have very little on them.
By cleaning up the guides section, it will make it usable to people who come here. It will mean we can link to the guides on relevant builds (e.g. an Urgoz Warren build could link to the Urgoz Warren guide on PvX, instead of GWiki or GWW).
What Is The Standard?[]
These are the points a guide should meet:
- The guide should be complete. This means no information is missing from it (e.g. a step in the mission or a characters role in a team).
- The guide should have images where possiable and relevant. Pictures help users see what the text is saying (an image of the mission/area map is always useful).
- The guide should have links to a wiki where relevant. This is so if a user doesn't understand what something is, they can just click the link. (e.g. a monster).
- The guide should be written in clear English. This is so the guide is easy to read and understand.

Anyone! Anyone can help with this project. If you wish to help, sign you name below, with the various aspects of the guides you wish to help improve, and don't forget to add the "Guide Improvement Member" user box by placing {{Guides Project}} to your user page.
