The idea of a portal is to help readers and/or editors navigate their way through PvXwiki topic areas through pages similar to the Main Page. In essence, portals are useful entry-points to PvXwiki content. However, a raw list may be wanted more. The "Codex"/"Deck" can be found here.

Introduction to the Codex Arena

Codex Arena matches consist of battles between two teams of four players. This Arena is very similiar to the recently removed Team Arenas, (which was basically Random Arenas, without the Random). However there is a twist, this Arena uses a "Sealed Deck" system, which limits the amount of usable skills by everybody playing the arena. Here are some key points about the Codex Arena: Each Profession has 15 Non-Elite Skills to choose from and 5 Elite Skills to choose from. This is known as the Deck/Codex. Assassins will always have Desperate Strike and Fox Fangs in their Deck/Codex so they can use attack-chains. Rangers will always have a Codex version of Charm Animal in their Deck/Codex, this form of the skill only allows a pet to be taken when 8 Beast Mastery or more is used. Resurrection Signets are always available. Elite Skills can only be selected from the Primary Profession (So an Assassin cannot use "Coward!" for example). A primary profession may only be used once per team. These rules make the Codex Arena similiar to Sealed Deck as it is considered an in-game implementation of such.
