This Mesmer is able to shutdown targets and assist in spikes through the usage of Energy Surge.

Usage
- Use Energy Surge as AoE damage and energy denial.
- Use Energy Surge and/or Shatter Enchantment for spike assist.
- Use Shatter Enchantment as enchantment strip.
- Use Power Leak as energy denial and interruption.
- Use Power Drain as energy management and interruption.
- Use Diversion to shutdown key skills.
- Use Shame to shutdown or to combine with diversion.
- Use Drain Enchantment as enchantment strip and energy management.
- Use Flesh of My Flesh as a hard res.
Counters
- Anti-casting skills.
- Energy denial.
- Regular Melee
Variants
- Cry of Frustration instead of Power Leak.
- Mirror of Disenchantment instead of Shatter Enchantment.
The following variants are more useful in RA than they are in GvG.
- Energy Burn for more energy denial/damage.
- Inspired Enchantment instead of Drain Enchantment.
- Mind Wrack serves as a nice cover-hex as well as an additional source of damage.
- Power Spike as an additional source of damage and a useful interrupt.
