In my opinion, Impale is more reliable than Ancestor's anyway because you don't need to be adjacent. Also, with Expose, if the other team doesn't have blocking you can have all three of them Expose a different target to throw off the monk. The spike might do well enough with 2 spikers. Iono. But in that case you could add a necro for support.
