The main reason of this build, is to farm Balth faction.. obviously.. Why it will be done, probaly for key's or Faction to buy Skills / Equipment. And Yes, you could RA all day in get more... Inferior to Solo-Trapping or Group-Trapping IMHO. Trapping = Easier and Simpler.

You know...

You can beat the Illusionary Weaponry mesmer team using the ele hench, the ranger hench, and the monk hench... without you using ANY skills. At all. Ever. I don't see why we need these kinds of builds on the wiki. If you're going to 'farm' faction, then you 'farm' the easiest team, the Illusionary Weaponry team. The main advantage of this over trappers is, it DOES NOT require players. You could trap with heroes, but it would need ALOT of microing.. Is This supposed to be a kind of joke?

I bought my NF a couple of weeks ago and until then i was a prophecies only player and i can solo IW mesmers and (if lucky) some other teams with my ele with a build i created my own. Tbh i think my build was trash and not worth posting or anything (my friend told me so too, but after two days he used it too :D ) I dont know about posting but my build was something like that u don't need any heroes or henchmans ( it's better in fact to be alone IMO ) Ele\Me 14fire - 10 earth - whatever left is energy storage with +1 Skills: Arcane Echo - Rodgort's Invocation - Glyph of Energy - aftershock - Aura of Restoration - Fire Attunement - Glyph of Sacrifice - Meteor Shower . You can easily kill mesmers with this combo starting casting after 2 seconds of match start F att>Aura of REs> glp of energy> Arcane Echo then when team approaches select one from the back cast Rodgort > glyph SAc > Meteor Shower > copy rodgort> original Rod > aftershock and an easy win and quick faction without any stupid hero microing or anything ,stupid bot players spoiling farm so on and so forth! With NF you can make your fire 16 drop aftershock put flame djinns haste (but u kill those IW's before FDH it's not totally necessary) ask anything if not sure about usage :D

The limits don't stack. The cap is set at 1000 faction per round in Zaishen Elite, meaning that you can farm no more than 6000 faction by the 6th round. If you cap the 2000 faction from Zaishen Challenge prior to farming Zaishen Eilte, you will not get any faction for the first two rounds, as you have already reached the limit. Well, u no how the Zaishen dudes usually clump together in the beginning? Ya, so the chain is GoS on the snarer~>Deep Freeze~>spam skills. After snarer uses Deep Freeze, put up Savannah/Searing/Teinai's Heat~>GoS~>Meteor Shower. Try to time Meteor Shower so that one is about 1.5 seconds after the other, for a KD every 1.5 seconds. Zaichen Elite

You should mention that this build is meant to farm the Zaichen Elite, where you get random groups of increasing sizes. This not only rewards Balthazar points faster, but also has a higher cap. Note that you get bonuses if you defeat the other team without dying... can you do that? As a side note, I found from experience trying to farm the Zaichen Elite that you can put a lot of Ritualist spirits and Ranger traps, thus you have a large advantage over the other team even before they get within range. I've not yet tried your setup to see how well it works though, but I think I'll give it a try next time I farm. Using mesmers' fast cast seems like a good idea. Alaris 16:21, 19 February 2008 (EST)

I play as a Mesmer (yes I use the build) and it works fine. Only issue is the Trappers, they can be hard, but just kite around a little so you miss their traps and let them be M-Showered. --GuildofDeals 06:40, 22 February 2008 (EST)

well it has already been voted and passed but i think 3 trappers 1 ele can do it easier than this imo but again i didn't run this build , if the elite zaishen challange is the case. i remember once getting over 30 easy wins with a party like that and it was a pug. propably the trapper team would survive better and get faster kills, with a nuker ele sidekick, now that there is speed trapping then it should be even easier right? :D anyway ... ıhm i guess thats all.

Reliably farming 6k faction in 20 minutes doesn't happen in PvP. Why? Because even the world's worst players will not run into traps and nukes in huge groups in the first 15 seconds of a match. Alliance battles is the best place for 'unskilled' players to get a team easy and get some quick faction. You can even make money doing it (trade kurz/lux faction for rare materials) Zaishen challenge may look good at first sight, but 6k a day just sucks.
