Old Norn Hero Farm

This seems actually like the old one that got deleted, except, there is 1 leecher now instead of someone who needs to get rezed. also, for the red points. if u flag past the points the siege ice golem will only hurt and not kill anyone...Nibelhim 21:51, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Ok, TBH that statement is wrong in 3 ways. First of all, it wasnt deleted, it was removed as per the database crash which is kinda different. Secondly, the change to Unyielding Aura makes it impossible to be ressed. Thirdly, they will die. Maybe not all of them but some of them. Snares + Water Trident + High damage in HM = death to stupid henchmen. And if 2 people die, you wont have enough damage to be able to kill the facet of existence. Why sac?

The trick is that heroes alone do not spawn mobs. So you don't want to walk with them, or you slow down/might die. The saccing is only convenient cause then you can see what the heroes are doing. You only have 1 job that you really need. That is getting the blessing. Saccing is jus tnice because it allows you to see what the heroes are doin/where theyre going and also allows you to micro Thunderclap or Rigor Mortis vs enemies that use spells/block. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 15:37, 17 September 2008 (EDT)

worth doing?

I tried it out and it works pretty well, but only yielding 75 rep per boss, therefore giving only 450 rep per run. With these numbers i think "is it really beneficial to waste all the time on this for a worthless title?" I mean if ur title farming, (which i am but not norn atm =]) sure its a fine way to farm for points. but its gonna take u a hell of a long time to go from r5 to max lol.

And theres no better way. This generates ~5000 points per hour, while NPF (with people) generates ~5000 points per hour. This is only dependant upon your ability. NPF is dependant upon the ability of your entire team. If a couple people suck at NPF, you are screwed and it takes 70 minutes to do a run or you just might not finish. Also, 5000 points per hour on NPF does not include getting a group. So basically this is the best way to farm norn point short of a REALLY good NPF group. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 20:56, 17 September 2008 (EDT)
