I find this is more reliable with a Totem Axe and a Shield (you will get +8 armour) with +45 Health while enchanted and -2 Received Damage while enchanted mods. [[User:62.190.230.92|62.190.230.92]] 22:24, 14 June 2008 (EDT)

:Problem with that is that you can't bring back the Broodmother if she runs away. You COULD switch to a staff if needed.

What does this have over all the ele builds? — Teh Uber Pwnzer 07:21, 28 March 2008 (EDT)
Nothing, just that ranger's who want to farm raptor nestlings can do it easily. Edlittle 07:24, 28 March 2008 (EDT)

Mobs don't scatter from sliver, energy is fine--Goldenstar 15:14, 28 March 2008 (EDT)

@Ricky, u fail same goes for everyone else, I dont waste my time farming coz its crap so uninstall, and again, were u take energy from? --/\/\/\SuperIgorsigИгорь 15:29, 28 March 2008 (EDT)
If you don't farm don't comment on farming builds, if a ranger can't swing 32 energy something's wrong. --71.229 15:45, 28 March 2008 (EDT)
Air of Superiority has a one in five chance to gain 5 energy. You also have a base 45 energy, and +5-15 depending on Asura rank. The raptors scatter if they get hit a lot, but don't die, so attack them with your staff and they will come back to you. Edlittle 18:39, 28 March 2008 (EDT)
Good job on reworking the build and making one effective for HM. I am happy you did not take my comments as demeaning, but took them as a manner of encouragement to better your farming!!! - Lord Xivor 05:17, 29 March 2008 (EDT)
Watching your video I think my computer would freeze if that many enemies were actively attacking on screen 76.26 21:13, 29 March 2008 (EDT)
It was only slow because my computer, with Vista running in the background and Camtasia recording, couldn't handle all that stuff, normally it goes at a perfect speed. Edlittle 15:53, 30 March 2008 (EDT)

Why Stone Striker instead of Armor of Earth? Armor of earth gives around 50 armor at 12 earth, and stone striker will give you 115 armor with Eartbound insigs. is it the movement speed that says no to armor of earth?Matti Nuke 15:12, 31 March 2008 (EDT)

Stone Striker is mainly so that when you get hit, it is much less. Instead of getting hit for 45s, you get hit for 20s, allowing to take more hits before dying or getting up magnetic aura. Edlittle 18:32, 31 March 2008 (EDT)
@71.229 I can comment on anything I whant. --Super Igor 15:52, 31 March 2008 (EDT)

you could add grasping earth into the variants that would help with what little scatter there is

Scattering

I'd like to confirm that the raptors do scatter with sliver armor.

Ive tried this multiple times in Nm with no problems, but every time to try HM with this they DO Scatter.

The only reason that they scatter is because of the damage. They are obviously taking too little damage over too much time. It's basically the AI kiting. The simple solution to the problem is to attack them with your staff, and they will come back. Edlittle 18:58, 14 April 2008 (EDT)

Points per hour/run?

Most of the faction farming builds state how efficient they are at farming points. Before I test out this build I'd like to know roughly how fast you would make these points compared to other builds/places! (ignoring the benefits of air of superiority)

To be honest, this farm points poorly imo.
Ive advanced two ranks in my Asura title farming Raptors, if you're farming them for golds etc anyway its not a bad way to get some easy points along the way. Selket Shadowdancer 06:56, 3 June 2008 (EDT)

Optional slot idea

You could also put in Storm Chaser in the optional slot of EBSoH is not available to the player. Gives you some extra energy. Just an idea :) --AngelusShoveAngelus 18:12, 23 April 2008 (EDT)

Ooh that's a good idea, although it can't be used if they aren't blinded yet, because 25% hit chance is bad with 30+ baddies attacking. Edlittle 21:12, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
Please sign all of your comments using the four tildes (~~~~) please... Escape is just fine for this build. If you did watch the video, you will notice that Air of Superiority takes care of all of those needs with its random bonuses. I don't think this would be needed much Joshgt2Charge! Joshgt2 (Talk) 07:10, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
Ahhh you're right Josh. Just realized you couldn't keep up Escape and SC at the same time anyway. Oh well. --AngelusShoveAngelus 15:43, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

Not keeping aggro

I'm trying this out in NM first, to get the hang of the skills etc, but the nestlings don't keep aggro. They just try a stab or two, and even when I'm standing still they won't keep attacking, is it better in HM? It's not just one or two that runs away, and I don't have sliver up or anything, they just won't keep attacking.

They keep aggro in NM if you dont run ahead of them too far, I generally walk a bit, then stop so they can catch up and settle, then carry on, etc. If you do this on HM thats where an IMS comes in handy. Selket Shadowdancer 06:54, 3 June 2008 (EDT)
